Edinburgh Summer School on Generative AI for Extremes

Building on the success of GAME 2025 in Edinburgh—the first worldwide workshop on generative AI modelling for extreme events—this summer school is led by GLE2N (Glasgow–Edinburgh Extremes Network) and brings PhD students and early-career researchers to the interface of generative AI and extreme value theory.

Multiple Hypothesis Testing – 23–27 May 2026, Hanken School of Economics A 5 ECTS graduate/doctoral course on modern methods for multiple hypothesis testing will take place at the Hanken School of Economics, organized by the Finnish Statistical Society and the Finnish Society of Biostatistics. The course covers familywise error rate control, false discovery rate control, resampling-based methods, and practical software implementations in R. There is no course fee.
